This integration requires assistance from our Support team and from Mapipedia for setup and configuration. Please get in touch with our Support Team at support@earthranger.com and we’ll guide you through the process to ensure everything is set up correctly.
We are actively working to make this integration self-service in the future. Stay tuned for updates!
Prerequisites
Data Push
- A Mapipedia account is required.
- Support from the Mapipedia team may be necessary.
- Mapipedia applies a small monthly fee per tag sending data to EarthRanger. Make sure the user is informed of this by the Mapipedia team when requesting the integration.
Considerations
These connections have primarily been used to bring Ceres Tag data into EarthRanger through Gundi.
For Ceres Tags, the integration transfers location data, a timestamp, a source identifier, and any additional information (such as temperature, location accuracy, activity level, etc.) sent by Mapipedia to EarthRanger through Gundi.
Integration Proces Summary
- Collaborate with Mapipedia to link their services to your devices.
- Contact our Support team and share your Mapipedia username—no password needed.
- We’ll handle all configurations in Gundi.
- Our team will also work directly with Mapipedia to connect your account to your chosen destination.
- In most cases, one Mapipedia account will be connected to a single destination. If you have a different requirement, please let us know.

Data Delivery
The time it takes for data to appear in your destination system depends on several factors, such as latency introduced by the source, network conditions, and intermediary systems. While these factors may vary, Gundi typically checks for available data at scheduled intervals (approximately every 10 minutes).
If data is not available in your system after this interval, please check the source of the data for its availability. If the issue persists, contact our Support team for assistance.
