Feature Groups

Feature Groups are primarily used for operational purposes, such as analyzers. These groups are not displayed under the Map Layers section in the user interface. However, if a feature included in a group is also part of a visible Feature Class, it will appear under that Feature Class in the Map Layers section.


How to Create a Feature Group

  1. Navigate to Map Layers > Feature Groups > Add Feature Group.
  2. Configure the Feature Group:
    1. Name: Assign a descriptive name that is easy to identify when setting up an analyzer. For example, Critical Boundaries - Elephants Group 1.
    2. Description (optional): Add a description for future reference.
  3. In the Features section:
    1. Use the dropdown menu to select the features you want to include in the group.
  4. Click Save to finalize the Feature Group.


Repeat this process for each reporting level (Warning, Critical, or Containment), ensuring that only the corresponding features are added to each group.
