Features & Improvements

  •  “Preserve My Settings” Enabled by Default
Your preferred map layers, filters, and view settings now automatically stay in place. No extra steps — when you refresh or return to EarthRanger, everything will look just the way you left it.
  • Better Geometry Support in the Feature Proximity Analyzer
The Feature Proximity Analyzer now supports points, lines, and polygons, allowing you to define and analyze proximity conditions across all feature types. More flexibility, more insight.
  • Updated Map Rendering with Vector Tiles
EarthRanger spatial features now use vector tiles for a smoother, cleaner display. You might notice subtle visual differences, but overall the map will load faster and look sharper.
  • Event Form Builder Enhancements
    • New “Refresh Choice List” button when editing or creating choice fields — instantly update without reloading the page.
    • Improved drag-and-drop experience when organizing form sections, making form building smoother and more intuitive.
  • Admin Update
    • Superusers can now unlink events from patrols or incidents directly in the Admin panel, providing greater flexibility when managing records.

  • Fixed a problem that made the coordinates component unresponsive in read-only events.
  • Corrected mismatched content-length headers in the Featureset API.

  • Fixed alerts not disabling when the owner user was inactive.
  • Fixed multi-select fields only exporting their first value in event exports.
