Profiles in EarthRanger are a flexible, secure login option designed to streamline user switching and protect account access. Especially on shared or field-deployed mobile devices.

Instead of entering full usernames and passwords each time, users with a PIN-enabled profile can log in quickly and securely by entering just their unique PIN

What Are Profiles?

Profiles are user-specific login identities tied to a central EarthRanger account.

They are most commonly used on shared mobile devices.

Each profile has its own PIN, making it fast and secure to switch users.

Profiles are created and managed by administrators in EarthRanger Admin.

If no profiles are configured, EarthRanger Mobile defaults to the single-user login flow. 

Where Are Profiles Used?

On Mobile: Log in using a PIN rather than your username and password.

On Web: Log in with your full account credentials, then access the profile selector if PIN-based profiles are enabled.
