Integration Process Summary
Set up a Route in Gundi. Contact our team if you need assistance.
Share your Route API key with your WildInno contact.
Wait for WildInno to configure Gundi as a data destination.
Wait for your devices to send data through WildInno Gundi EarthRanger.
Verify the integration and reach out for support as needed.
Click Add destination on the flow map and select a destination. Please consult
our guide.
2. Configure Data Provider
Visit the Connection you created during this process, and copy the API key. To do this, click
the data provider node on the flow map, open the Connect section, find the API
key field, select the text and copy it.
Send this API key, your WildInno account username, and your Workspace name to your contact at
WildInno, requesting an integration with EarthRanger/Gundi.
This integration is classified as a “Push” type, meaning WildInno services send data to Gundi
on their regular schedule, and Gundi immediately attempts to forward it to the destination
specified in your Connection.
Note on Latency
The time it takes for data to appear in your destination system depends on several factors, such
as latency introduced by the source, network conditions, and intermediary systems. While these
factors may vary, Gundi typically checks for available data at scheduled intervals (approximately
every 5 minutes).
If data is not available in your system after this interval, please check the source of the data
for its availability. If the issue persists, contact our Support team for assistance.
Troubleshooting
If your devices are not showing in your desired destination (e.g, EarthRanger or Movebank), you
can try these steps:
Confirm if the data is available to WildInno. Contact someone at WildInno if you don't have
access to this information or if you detect that the trackers are not sending data to their
services.
Ask our Support Team to investigate the connection between WildInno and your destination.
