In our main screen of the map you will be able to find features and options to personalize it and have the best experience using EarthRanger. Top Navigation Bar This bar is located on the top of your screen that holds different functionalities for the user. Including menu, alerts, notifications and user settings. Map Quicklinks - This is a dropdown menu that can be configured in the admin site to save different locations in the map and configure the desired zoom to access them easily. Connection Status - Indicates the status of EarthRanger’s connections and that it is operating normally. The Healthy status legends appear if Server, Network and Real time status are working. A red dot indicates that something is wrong. Notify your local administrator if the dot stays red for more than a short time. Messages -In EarthRanger you can communicate with your rangers equipped with supported devices and the operation rooms via internal messages. EarthRanger Notifications - This is designed for Earth Ranger to communicate with the user of the platform any new features, system outages, developments , etc. User Settings - Section to manage the user, user profiles and log out from the sessions. Menu On the top left of the navigation bar, you will be able to find the Menu. This menu provides different options for your EarthRanger usage: My Alerts - You can configure your personalized alerts regarding any new event or report in order to get notifications. Contact Support - You can contact the support team to report any issues.Help Center - A link to our Support site where you can find documentation about EarthRanger and EarthRanger Mobile. Community - Is a place where you can interact with different ER users, post questions and share your experience. Field Events - Allows you to export a Report from the Events currently filtered in the Events Feed. Subject KML - You can export geographic data from EarthRanger in keystone markup language. Subject Summary- Allows you to create a Report with the information of the subjects in the platform. Observations - Allows you to export data for tracked subjects. Important: You should refresh the display whenever EarthRanger software is updated because refreshing forces all resources to be updated to the latest versions.
