Global Forest Watch (globalforestwatch.org) alerts can be integrated with Gundi supported systems accepting wildlife movement data.

Prerequisites
- Area of interest in Global Forest Watch. You can obtain this URL from the GFW dashboard.
- Configurations required on the destination system (e.g., event types in EarthRanger, data model in SMART Connect).
EarthRanger
Create the event types gfwgladalert and gfwfirealert, and set the template to automatic schema.
Configurations
You can choose to receive fire alerts and/or integrated deforestation alerts.
Limitations
Only high confidence alerts are sent to the destination system.
Future Plans
Ability to choose between receiving only high confidence alerts or all alerts.
